Conclusion to Medical Astrology 101 Series

I've completed the Medical Astrology 101 series, where I covered Sun Signs and health issues, as well as planets and Chiron's effects on our bodies. This is just the beginning; there's a lot more to explore in Medical Astrology. In my next episode, I'll demonstrate a detailed Medical Astrology Reading and what you can expect from a session with me. My readings range from finding safe surgery dates to deep dives into your chart for root causes of health issues. I love how precise Medical Astrology can be, like identifying nutritional deficits confirmed by blood tests without invasive procedures. For example, I helped a client with heartburn by detecting a severe thiamine deficiency and developing a treatment plan, which was more effective than the potentially harmful medication prescribed by her doctor. If doctors used Medical Astrology, patient care would improve significantly. Experience the benefits yourself by booking a Medical Astrology Reading and health coaching package with me.

Medical Astrology 101- Chiron

Chiron is a comet/planetoid in astrology, representing our deepest wounds and teaching us to see them as blessings. It was discovered in 1977 and symbolizes the "wounded healer," highlighting that our greatest challenges can become our strengths. Chiron's placement in a chart points to where we might experience these life-altering wounds.

The writer shares a personal story about their Chiron in Gemini, which relates to communication struggles. They overcame being silenced as a child by learning sign language and becoming an interpreter, which utilized their expressive nature. Later, as a nurse and podcaster, they found healing and empowerment in using their voice, leading to personal and professional growth.

To balance Chiron, one should identify their weak spots through their natal chart, meditate on it, and then enhance the influence of the planet ruling the related body system with rituals, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Medical Astrology 101- The Outer Three Planets

Today's discussion focuses on the outer three planets—Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto—and their significance in Medical Astrology. These planets are not traditionally included in Medical Astrology because they are invisible to the naked eye and have a more psychological and spiritual impact rather than a physical one. However, they can still influence health by causing physical symptoms through their effects on the psychological and spiritual bodies.

Uranus is associated with the body's electrical system and was discovered around the time electricity was being developed. It represents breaking free from limitations and embracing new perspectives. Neptune, named after the God of the Sea, symbolizes the transcendent part of the self that goes beyond individuality. It is linked to sleep, energy levels, and the psyche, and its influence can lead to mysterious medical issues. Pluto, often misunderstood as destructive, actually represents transformation and the power to change oneself and the world.

The planets also have associations with elements and astrological signs: Uranus with air and Aquarius, Neptune with water and Pisces, and Pluto with water and Scorpio. They do not govern any specific vitamins or minerals, except for Neptune, which rules Pantothenic acid (B5) and laetrile (B17), and Pluto, which rules orotic acid or Vitamin B13.

These outer planets are considered higher octaves of inner planets: Uranus of Mercury, Neptune of Venus, and Pluto of Mars. To balance their influences, one should approach them similarly to how they would balance the corresponding inner planets.

Understanding the roles of these outer planets can help identify the root causes of health issues and guide individuals toward healing on a deeper level, both spiritually and psychologically. For personalized insights, scheduling a Medical Astrology reading is recommended.

Medical Astrology 101- Mercury the Messenger

Mercury is the fastest planet in Medical Astrology, orbiting the Sun in 88 days and is closest to it. Despite its proximity to the Sun, Mercury's influence isn't hot and drying. It governs all forms of communication and goes retrograde about three times a year, which can disrupt technology and cause introspective shifts related to health in Medical Astrology. Mercury is associated with the Air element and slightly with Earth through Virgo. Its glyph combines a cross, crescent, and circle, reflecting Hermes' symbolism. It rules the lungs, nervous system, thyroid, hormonal system, and body pairs like arms and legs in Medical Astrology. Mercury also influences digestion, emphasizing the importance of stress-free eating environments for good health. Mercury's influence is generally neutral but can lead to anxiety or depression if imbalanced. It governs Thiamine (Vitamin B1), crucial for carbohydrate metabolism and nervous system health. Positive expressions of Mercury include clear thinking and effective communication, while negative aspects involve scattered thoughts and poor boundaries. To balance Mercury's influence, hydration and grounding practices are recommended, as well as journaling for mental clarity.
